BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The total assets of PASHA Bank in the first quarter of 2023 increased by 22 percent compared to the same period in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the bank's balance sheet.

As the report said, the bank's total assets grew by 1.567 billion manat ($921.7 million) over the year and reached 8.6 billion manat ($5 billion). In their structure, the largest share, which is 31.67 percent, was taken by loan portfolio increasing to 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion) by 3.46 percent in a year.

At the same time, the deduction of target reserves from the bank's portfolio to ensure possible losses reached 67.5 million manat ($39.7 million).

According to the results of the first quarter of this year, about 18.34 percent of PASHA Bank's total assets were cash and cash equivalents worth 1.595 billion manat ($938 million).

Moreover, about 25.96 percent of the bank's assets were investments in securities worth 2.2 billion manat ($1.2 billion).

In addition, other assets of the bank in the specified quarter of 2023 amounted to 137 million manat ($80.5 million).
