BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The deficit indicator of the revised state budget of Azerbaijan for 2023 has been increased by 210 million manat ($123.5 million), up to 2.78 billion manat ($1.64 billion), Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the increase will be financed by funds raised from domestic borrowing and additional revenues from privatization.
The ratio of the deficit to the expected gross domestic product at the end of this year will be 2.5 percent.
Previously, the state budget deficit was projected at the level of 2.57 billion manat ($1.5 billion).
