ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 9. Turkmenistan’s Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank secured the top position in the country for the number of ATMs set up, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, Dayhanbank had 1,022 ATMs as of the beginning of January this year.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank was second with 441 ATMs, while Turkmenbashi Joint-Stock Commercial Bank was third with 356 ATMs.
The majority of Dayhanbank's ATMs are installed across various regions of Turkmenistan. Thus, most of the bank's ATMs are located in the Mary (275), Lebap (263), and Dashoguz (194) regions.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank and Turkmenbashi Joint-Stock Commercial Bank have most of their ATMs located in Ashgabat (204 and 92, respectively).
