BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. State duty revenues in 2024 are projected to reach 359 million manat ($211.1 million), which is 1.4 percent or 5 million manat ($2.9 million) more than the approved forecast for the current year, Trend reports.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan says one percent of state budget earnings must go to corporate income tax receipts after the budget revision.
Additionally, it should be noted that in general, the forecast of revenues of the revised state budget of Azerbaijan for 2024 will be increased from 34.1 billion manat ($20 billion) to 36.3 billion manat ($21.3 billion), and the forecast of expenditures will be increased from 36.7 billion manat ($21.5 billion) to 39.7 billion manat ($23.3 billion).
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's state budget revenues in the first quarter of this year exceeded the forecast by 8.07 percent, or 659.5 million manat ($387.9 million).
The country's state budget revenues exceeded 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion), which is 11.4 percent more than in the same period last year.
