Azerbaijan to Consider Broadband Wireless Network Access in Moscow

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Bab ayeva / Salman Huseynov, representative of the State Radio Frequency Management of Azerbaijan, will take part at the workshop of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on broadband wireless network access for regional and remote regions of the CIS, Central and East Europe and Baltic countries. The workshop will be held in Moscow on 26 and 29 November.

The technical and economic factors reflect on presence and unrolling wireless broadband services issues will be discussed at the workshop. The workshop program includes meetings dedicated to the following topics:

- introduction of broadband communication;

- implementation of broadband programs and systems;

- broadband decisions for rural and remote regions;

- standards and technologies of broadband wireless communication;

- regulation aspects;

- planning and implementation of BWA;

- convergence of fast and mobile communication;

- Transition and evolution from 2G to 3G.

Thanks to cover wide geographic areas the wireless technologies become one of the more efficient decisions to render high speed services to users in regions and remote regions.
