Babayeva / By the end of the year the Azerbaijani IT company Smart Systems Technology plans to complete development of Data Transfer system to link the semi-state Kapital Bank with its branches in the regions (Sumgayit, Ganja, Sheki, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Lankaran, Khachmaz, Sabirabad, Yevlakh, Khirdalan, Davachi, Siyazan, Gazakh, Astara, Guba).
Communication lines were laid for the bank's branches in Guba and Khirdalan and were linked to the optic network. The work with other branches is still underway, the company reported on 12 December.
"The entire networks is expected to be put into exploitation within 10 days," a source at the company reported.
Smart System Technology, which is an official partner of the Oracle Corporation in Azerbaijan, was established in November, 1999. The Company is engaged in rendering services of complex automation of banking and financing activity, designing and projecting installation of telecommunication networks, development of complex information systems, as well as consulting services in banking and financial sphere, as well as Internet services, selling of up-to-date telecommunication equipment and many other.
