( Metro ) - Proud parents can now download high-quality scans of their unborn child onto portable video players.
The technology also enables the parents to share their scans with partners, family and friends via e-mail and on their phones.
The 4D scans, which provide much clearer views of the foetus than traditional ultrasound images, are being offered by the private Portland Hospital in London, which has started a maternal and foetal well-being centre.
