Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 April / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The Communication and IT Ministry of Azerbaijan has transfered AZN 6.9mln to the State Budget during the first quarter, Vidadi Zeynalov, head of Communication Ministry Administration, stated.
"Transfers to the State Social Protection Fund totaled AZN 2.35mln," he stated.
The Ministry enterprises invested AZN 4.3mln in telecommunication sector. The State communication enterprises' incomes made up AZN 46.5mln.
In total, AZN204.4mln worth services were rendered in the sphere of communication during the first quarter of 2008, which is more by 45.9% compared to the mentioned period in 2007. Most part of income- 79.9% is from private sector and 79.1% of services were rendered to the population.
The incomes share of communication in GDP made up 1.9%, in the course of the GDP growth of 59.5%.
