Internet World Stats, in March 2008, about 37.6% of internet users were from Asia continent only. The number of internet users reached 530mln people.
Other 27.1% (382mln) was the population of Europe, 17.5% (246mln) - the North America, 9.8% (137mln) - the Latin America and Caribbean Sea, 3.6% (51mln) - Africa, 3% (42mln) - the Middle East, 1.4% (19mln) - Australia and Oceania.
The highest growth from 2000 to 2008 have been observed in the Middle East 1176,8%, as well as Africa - -1030,2%, Latin America and Caribbean Sea - 659.9%, Asia - 363.4%, Europe- 263.5%, Australia and Oceania - 154% and the North America - 127.9%.
