Azercell head to address Telecoms World Russia and CIS-2009 conference

Azerbaijani GSM-operator Azercell Telecom President Ali Agan will make a report at a business meeting of telecommunication leaders of Russia, CIS and Europe - Telecoms World Russia and CIS-2009 which is taking place in Moscow on Feb. 24-27.

"Agan is a key reporter at the session on the Eurasian region and will make a report on "Role of telecommunication sector in developing countries' economic growth," the company said.

Moreover, the conference will focus on financing business beyond Russia and offering new products and services to consumers, as well as increasing ARPU [Average Revenue per User] through offering new extra mobile services, satisfying need in expanding throughout capacity of 4G and NGN networks and commercializing new technology to get new income.

Leaders of important telecommunication companies of Russia and CIS, international telecommunication companies, providers of service, software programs and equipment, investment bankers and funds' managers, as well as heads of ministries and bodies will attend the conference.

"Our participation in such a prestigious conference aims to represent Azerbaijan and report about the country's stable economic growth on the backdrop of the global economic crisis," Agan said.

Azercell Telecom is a giant mobile communication operator and Azerbaijan and covers over 3.5 million subscribers.
