In 2008, the number of Internet users in Georgia exceeded 900,000 people, and the income of Internet providers has reached 65.352 million lari ($39 million), with 23-million lari more than in 2007. This data was presented in a report from the National Governing Communications Commission.
With regard to statistics from ADSL, the report says their subscribers numbered 96,000, when this figure amounted to 41,234 subscribers in 2007.
