Azerbaijan must continue implementing electronic services and e-government to ensure dynamic economic development, National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) Consultant Won Jae Lee said today.
He added that Korea can propose optimal, e-government solutions to Azerbaijan.
"We are ready to propose micropayment, client, and migration service solutions," Lee said. However, the first step is making sure that the Azerbaijani government is ready for innovation.
The NIPA consultant noted that Korea is an international leader in IT and electronic services. At one point, though, the country faced difficulties integrating IT solutions, Lee said. He added that many state departments were once fearful of using new technologies, he added.
First and foremost, Korea had to promote new ideas and innovative approaches to getting the state authorities involved in introducing IT services into their daily activities, Lee said.
