AZEDUNET Company, implementing a project of Azerbaijan's educational network, received the status of the silver system integrator from ZyXEL Company, Samad Abbasov, AZEDUNET director, said.
Abbasov said that AZEDUNET is responsible for implementing ZyXEL decisions. The access to a broadband network is built on ADSL2 + and VDSL2 technologies of this vendor.
"The status of the silver system integrator will allow us to more effectively establish relations with vendors and deliver integrated solutions to the local market. Over 10 people, who have ZyXEl Certified System Engineer, work in our organization", Abbasov said.
Azerbaijan Education Network is being established under the State Program on Informatization of Education in 2008-2012. More than 500 educational institutions were connected to the network in 2008-2009. AZEDUNET will connect 500 educational institutions to the Azerbaijani educational network by late 2010.
