Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.15 / Trend H.Valiyev /

Azerbaijani company ITComputing consider the possibility of deployment of virtual desktop systems NComputing in secondary educational institutions throughout the country, ITComputing CEO Miraga Nagiyev told Trend.

According to Nagiyev, the company plans to appeal to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to implement this project.

Nagiyev said Ncomputing's terminal solutions can significantly reduce the costs of computerization, ensure maximum data security, restrict unauthorized access to networks, as well as to reduce power consumption dozens of times compared to the traditional method of computerization.

"Today, these devices are already used in the main office of Access Bank, which intends to introduce it in all its branches," Nagiyev said.

Ncomputing's virtualization software runs on a server that is connected through the access terminal to "virtual" computers, which have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. All calculations are carried out at the same time on a central server. Terminals cannot be "infected" with the virus, which it turn will reduce the costs of antivirus software.

Using NComputing solutions also allows quickly, effectively and with minimal costs increasing the level of information security in the network. A user can use only those applications that are determined by an administrator.

All these measures help to minimize the risks associated with leakage or loss of information, and reliably protect the whole infrastructure from viruses and harmful software.
