Georgian Economy Ministry has put up the right for a four-year management of the company engaged in television tower management in Tbilisi, for an electronic auction.
Alfa-Com, the former "Georgian Teleradiocenter", together with a 274-meter TV tower, located in Tbilisi, operates with 35 smaller broadcasting towers in different regions of Georgia. The company serves more than 30 radio and 16 television companies.
Starting price is 100 lari ($ 1 = 1.67 lari) at the auction, which began on July 18 and will run until Aug.1.
The Economy Ministry put forward two basic terms for those wishing to obtain the right to manage the company. They terms are: preserving profile of the enterprise and investing at least $ 12 million within the next four years.
