The Physics Institute of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences has started deploying a grid-segment in Azerbaijani educational institutions within the EduGrid project, High Energy Laboratory Chief Hovsat Abdinov told Trend.
He said the institute has already prepared a platform for obtaining scientific results in the grid-technologies, which forms the basis for the virtual space information infrastructure.
Schools with access to Grid segment via the Institute's network will be able to communicate in the online mode with any teacher in the world, organize live lectures, video conferences, etc.
The Physics Institute first envisages deploying grid-segment in the Zarida Aliyeva School.
