Specialists of the radio monitoring office of the State Radio Frequency Department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan conducted an analysis of the quality of broadcast of TV and radio programmes from Baku's TV tower, the department said on Wednesday.
The test works by measuring the level of electromagnetic influence of the signal and was held in the city of Sumgait and residential areas of Bilga, Mashtaga, Bina, Mardakan, Zagulba, Zykh, Shuvalan, Alat, Gobustan, Primorsk, Taghiyev, Piralllahi and Gilazi in the Khizi region.
The radio monitoring office of the State Radio Frequency Department conducted measurement work in 72 points.
In these residential areas radio monitoring experts analysed the tension of electromagnetic fields of radio programmes broadcast on the FM range.
At the regional level, measuring work to identify the quality of broadcast of TV and FMchannels was held in 25 areas.
On TV broadcasting there were 712 measurement operations in 52 points, on the Radio - 545 measuring works in 51 points.
Radiuses of coverage of the digital TV transmitters DVB-T were determined.
