The share of Google search system increased by 1.5 percent on the Azerbaijani Internet market in January-September 2017, the Global Stats reported Oct. 21.
Google is the most popular search system in Azerbaijan, which as of October 1, owns 94.6 percent of the search engine market. The number of Google users rose by 1.13 percent in the country in January-September 2017 as compared to the same period of 2016.
Meanwhile, the number of Azerbaijani users of Yandex search system decreased by 36.7 percent in the period. Yandex ranks second in the search market in Azerbaijan, and as of late September 2017, its share was 1.84 percent that is 12.8 percent less than the same indicator of 2016.
Yahoo ranks third with a market share of 1.82 percent that is 62.5 percent more than in early 2017.
Mail.ru ranks fourth with 0.66 percent and Bing ranks fifth with 0.81 percent.
