The sales of portable computers (laptops, netbooks) increased by 10.2 percent in Azerbaijan in January-October 2017, GlobalStats reported Nov. 4.
Reportedly, as of Nov. 1, 2017, the share of laptops was 59.1 percent in Azerbaijan, 22.6 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
The desktop PC market share was 38.1 percent in the country in late October 2017, 21.1 percent less than in the same period of 2016.
Tablet computers ranked third with a share of 2.75 percent. The market share of tablet computers decreased by 28.9 percent in January-October 2017. The share of tablets decreased by almost 20.7 percent as compared to the same period of 2016.
