All post offices of Azerpoct LLC have joined the e-GovPay payment system of the Information and Computing Center of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the Center told Trend.
Using the e-GovPay system, one can pay for utilities, communication services,Internet, etc.
In accordance with the law “On Non-Cash Settlements”, the powers to receive cash for telecommunication services have been transferred to Azerpoct LLC because it has legal rights for rendering financial services.
Azerpoct LLC has an extensive postal network, which includes more than 1,500 post offices in Azerbaijan.
Currently, the e-GovPay system is integrated and used in the e-GovPay payment terminals installed in the “Shebeke” centers of Azerpoct LLC.
