Tabletka.az - Azerbaijani online medicine-searching portal will soon have a mobile application, that has been developed, the project's manager Emin Sultanov, told Trend Dec 15
He pointed out that the app will become available via Google Playmarket until the end of January 2018.
The functionality of the application will allow to search for medicine, get information about the cost, nearest location, a drugstore's working hours, and so on.
Users will also be able to take a picture of a prescription and send it to the pharmacy directly, and then establish direct contact with the staff.
Another important addition to the app is the "My therapist" module, which will allow to set reminders on time for taking medications, Sultanov said.
Speaking long-term, Sultanov said the the distribution will be supplemented with new features that will appear in new app updates. Among the possible innovations is a direct patient-doctor contact.
Also, patients with chronic diseases will be offered the possibility of subscribing to the service of delivering the medication for example, once a month, said Sultanov, thus patients will no longer have to go to pharmacies and look for necessary medications.
The portal's database currently includes around 100,000 registered drugs, and other medicine-related products. The database also includes around 70 drugstores operating in Baku and the regions of the country.
