Azerbaijan's Sazz company is preparing to test the Triple Play service in one of Baku's settlements, the company told Trend on April 5.
The Triple Play service is an integrated service that allows the user to access the Internet, IPTV and IP telephony via the broadband access channel.
The tests will be conducted jointly with one of the capital telecommunications operators, The company said, without naming the operator.
"Triple Play tests using our LTE platform will begin around mid 2018. We will receive IP-TV and IP-telephony services from our partner, and the Internet service will be provided by Sazz. If the tests are successful, the state operator can suspend or completely cease its own project to expand LTE and entrust Sazz the development of wireless broadband access network. Thereby it will enable Sazz to become a partner in wireless services. But it's a matter of the future and it's too early to talk about it now, " the company said.
