Uzbekistan intends to attract Russian companies to create a data center in Jizzakh region worth $407 million, Trend reports citing RIA Novosti.
The project aimed to create a data center with a capacity of 40 MW and provide cloud services and IT infrastructure services was presented at the II International Investment Forum which is being held in Jizzakh.
This project will become the basis of the digital infrastructure of the region. According to preliminary estimates, Russian companies can offer the most advanced technologies and developments in the field of cloud technologies.
The project is planned to be implemented within a public-private partnership and be completed by 2024.
The II International Investment Forum is attended by about 250 business representatives from almost 30 countries.
