The volume of revenues of Azerbaijani mobile operators amounted to 690.2 million manat ($406 million) from January through April 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee’s data on May 22.
According to the committee’s data, revenues of the mobile communications sector grew by 8.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
In the reporting period, cost of information and communication services in real terms increased by 7.7 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Some 71.8 percent of the total volume of provided information and communication services accounted for population, while 79.6 percent of total revenues in the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
In 2019, information and communication services worth over 2 billion manat ($1.1 billion) were provided to the population and organizations in Azerbaijan, which is 15.9 percent more compared to 2018.
