The leading Romanian WEVO company (former IT Grup) is currently implementing state projects in Azerbaijan, CEO of the Branch of WEVO in Azerbaijan, Kamran Allahverdiyev told Trend.
“Currently, WEVO is dealing with some major local/regional projects like 1. A project with SOCAR (Romania); 2. A project with Oscar Downstream (Romania); 3. Governmental Projects in Azerbaijan” said the CEO.
“Recently, the Branch of the company in Azerbaijan has celebrated its one - year anniversary. A gathering was organized (taking into account coronavirus pandemic restrictions, i.e. wearing face coverings, keeping distance) to mark by the celebration that important date in the company`s life,” Allahverdiyev noted.
“It wasn`t the day only for celebrating their success and achievements. It was also the day for appreciating the staff, associates, CEO, and even their customers and partners for all the support and efforts they put into the company,” added the CEO.
“It’s not just a corporate anniversary, it’s an anniversary of a family that only grew strong defying the odds,” said Allahverdiyev.
“We started with a few but now we are many, not only in numbers but also in talents and creativity. Congratulations dears for all your efforts and accomplishments!” said the CEO.
The WEVO’s (former IT Grup’s) staff used this celebration as an opportunity to share their vision for the years ahead, discussed their strategy for the next five years so they have a clear understanding of where the organization is headed.
WEVO (former IT Grup) company’s long-term plans are to transfer and realize their innovative IT solutions in other countries of the world, said the CEO.
“Pandemic has influenced the world, adversely affecting the safety of humanity and business, including WEVO’s (former IT Grup’s) plans of the company expansion. However, nothing is more precious than life and health, and the company has always adhered to rules doing whatever is in their power to endure this hard and unexpected year in mankind`s life,” the director said.
WEVO (former IT Grup) was founded in 2000 in Romania and since then has been involved in major local and regional projects for the Downstream industry. It was the first company to develop and implement for Romania the unattended concepts in the downstream industry by certifying and implementing the first 18 full unattended petrol stations in Romania, which are automated projects.
In 2019, the Branch of WEVO (former IT Grup) opened in Baku, Azerbaijan.
