BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. Azerbaijan's Azercosmos OJSC and Italy's Leaf Space have signed a long-term commercial agreement, the Azerbaijani company told Trend.
According to the agreement, the Azercosmos' Ground Station (AGS) will provide Leaf Space with the opportunity for satellite data use.
Furthermore, the AGS' modern antenna systems will offer solutions for processing, transmission, and telemetry control between satellite networks and monitoring space equipment.
"The antenna installed in Azerbaijan will enhance the coverage of our services to expand the global network of ground stations, and we're very pleased to cooperate with Azercosmos OJSC," said the CEO of Leaf Space Jonata Puglia.
Deputy Chairman of OJSC Fuad Aslanov underscored the particular importance of the relevant cooperation for the development of Azerbaijan's space sector.
