BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. The share of Android-run devices in Azerbaijan in February 2023 increased by 0.25 percent compared to January and totaled 55.92 percent, Trend reports citing Statcounter’s Global Stats data.
Windows OS (Microsoft) ranked second with a share of 27.61 percent, which is 0.71 percent less compared to the previous month.
Apple's iOS operating system still ranks third. Its share increased by 0.09 percent to 11.38 percent in February 2023.
The share of macOS X (Apple) in the local market totaled 2.17 percent in February (an increase of 0.27 percent).
The less popular operating systems in Azerbaijan are Linux – 1.02 percent, and other operating systems – 1.89 percent.
Android is an open-source mobile operating system that is primarily made for touchscreen mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. It is built on a modified version of the Linux kernel.
