New Postage Stamp to be Issued Dedicated to Co-operation Between Azerbaijan and Japan

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / On April 5th a postage stamp dedicated to the co-operation between Azerbaijan and Japan was presented at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan. The stamp began circulation on the same day.

The stamp depicts the two countries' national flags as well as the Shimal Electric Power Station and combine harvesters as a symbol of economic co-operation. The nominal cost of the stamp is 1 AZN and so far 25,000 stamps have been printed. The stamp's unveiling was attended by the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov, Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan, Tadahiro Abe, Deputy Agriculture Minister of Azerbaijan, Ilham Guliyev, President of Azermarka State Enterprise, Intigam Bagirli and others.
