Asus T500 PCIe Card is Possibly the Fastest Ever

( Mobile ) - I don't have time to wait for a page to load. I don't have time to wait for my download to complete. I want what I want and I want it now. If you're as impatient as me, then the Asus T500 PCIe card might be just the ticket, because the company is claiming that this GSM-based card is speedier than WiFi. Then they quietly mention that this astronomical speed is only available in "some locations."

In any case, the Asus T500 3.5G high-speed PCIe card is supposed to be capable of pushing those 1s and 0s through to your computer at up to 3.6Mbps downstream and up to 384kbps upstream. Inside, it's got radios for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, as well as WCDMA 2100/1900/850.

And as if the data side of things weren't enough, the Asus T500 also has "a handful of phone features", like granting you the ability to take and receive calls via an external headset, as well as the receiving, editing, and sending of SMS messages.
