About 4.43 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Shahid Rajaee Port in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, about 3.15 million tons of the cargo were loaded and 1.27 million tons were unloaded.
“In addition, 2.86 million tons of goods were exported and 375,000 tons were imported through the Shahid Rajaee port over the reporting period,” the statistics said.
Also, 102,000 tons of goods were loaded and 12,200 tons were unloaded for transit through the Shahid Rajaee Port, the statistics said.
According to the statistics, 188,000 tons of goods were loaded and 882,000 tons were unloaded for cabotage in this port within the ninth month.
“Furthermore, 90 tons of goods were loaded and 310 tons were unloaded in the port for transshipment,” the statistics said.
Moreover, 2,060 tons of goods were unloaded in the Shahid Rajaee port for other purposes, the statistics said.
According to the statistics, 149,000 tons of essential products, 677,000 tons of metal products, 1.07 million tons of construction and mining materials, 2,870 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts, 68,900 tons of chemicals were loaded and unloaded in the Shahid Rajaee port in the 9th month.
“At the same time, 2 tons of leather products, clothing, wood materials, paper, and so on, 27,500 tons of small and assorted products, 54,600 tons of container products, 2.37 million tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port during the reporting period,” the statistics said.
A total of 9.13 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020). Of this, 5.5 million tons were loaded and 3.62 million tons were unloaded.
