Kazakhstan to increase number of int’l flights to Turkey, Uzbekistan, Belarus

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6

Kazakhstan will increase the number of international flights to Turkey, Uzbekistan and Belarus, Trend reports referring to the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.

The number of flights to Turkey will increase from June 7, 2021. The Kazakh people will be able to fly to Antalya city eight times a week.

The flights to Uzbekistan will be also made on the "Almaty - Namangan", "Aktau - Nukus", "Aktobe - Nukus", "Aktobe - Samarkand" routes twice a week.

Moreover, the flights to Belarus on the Almaty-Minsk route will be increased. Two flights will be made a week by each side.

These decisions were made by the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Emergence and Spread of Coronavirus in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The flights on the abovementioned routes are expected to be made by Air Astana, SCAT, Turkish Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways and Belavia.

The flights will be made in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in agreement with the relevant structures of a foreign country.
