Azerbaijan’s ADY Container LLC, a subsidiary company of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, transported 2,688 TEU containers from Turkmenistan to Turkey from January through July 2021, ADY Container told Trend.
"The number of TEU containers delivered from Turkey to Turkmenistan amounted to 279. In total, 2,967 TEU containers were transported in both directions, " the company said.
Sulfur, urea, and propylene were mainly transported from Turkmenistan to Turkey, and construction materials and structures were transported in the opposite direction, added the company.
"In the reporting period, 1,600 TEU containers were delivered to Turkmenistan from other destinations. They mainly transported aluminum, metal structures, bitumen, and other cargo, " the company added.
Some 1,364 TEU containers with sulfur, polyethylene, and copper were transported from Turkmenistan to other countries also from January through July 2021.
