Iran's Chabahar Port hit record high daily loading/unloading of basic goods, Director General of Ports and Maritime of Sistan and Baluchestan Province Behrouz Aghaie said, Trend reports citing PMO official website.
Referring to the speed of unloading and loading of basic goods, Aghaie said an average of 580 trucks per day are loaded and transported to different destinations.
"Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), more than 700,000 tons of basic goods have been unloaded at Chabahar port and transported,” he said, adding that currently three ships carrying 200,000 tons of imported wheat are waiting to be unloaded at the port of Chabahar.
“Meanwhile, two vessels carrying wheat and corn are being unloaded at the berths of Shahid Beheshti port,” Aghaie added.
