The value of goods transported by air in Azerbaijan from January through November 2021 grew, Trend reports citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the SCC, this indicator exceeded $1.2 billion, up by $51.1 million (4.12 percent) on annual basis.
In the first 11 months of last year, over 75,300 tons of cargo were transported by air, which is 41.33 percent more than during the same period of 2020, the committee said.
Meanwhile, the volume of cargo export by air made up 67,234 tons, and the value - $263.69 million (growth of 9.45 percent).
Besides, 8,071 tons (a decline of 15.6 percent) of the air transportation accounted for imports, amounting to over $1 billion (a growth of 2.84 percent).
In 11M2021, the cost of cargo shipments by all means of transport in Azerbaijan equaled $30.21 billion, including export worth nearly $19.8 billion, and imports - over $10.4 billion, added the committee.
