Azerbaijan's production value of machinery, equipment up in 2M2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. The total production value of machinery and equipment, cars, trailers and semi-trailers in Azerbaijan from January through February 2022 considerably grew, the State Statistics Committee told Trend.

According to the committee, this figure amounted to 77.1 million manat ($45.3 million), up by 44 million manat ($25.8 million), or 2.3 times on an annual basis.

In the first two months of this year, there were produced 59 tractors and 105 cars (compared to 51 tractors and 216 cars in 2M2021) in the country.

Azerbaijan's GDP increased by 6.7 percent in February 2022 compared to the same month of last year up to 19.2 billion manat ($11.3 billion).
