ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 19. The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation discussed draft joint promising agreements, Trend reports.
According to an official source, these discussions took place during a working visit to Ashgabat by a delegation of the Russian customs service, during which she met with representatives of the customs service of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Joint Action Plan and considered priority areas of cooperation.
In particular, the draft Agreement on mutual recognition of the relevant institutions of the authorized economic operator, the Agreement between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on the organization of a simplified procedure for customs operations when moving goods and vehicles. The issues of information exchange of preliminary information, training and other issues were discussed between the two countries.
The two-day visit of the Russian delegation was organized within the framework of the Joint Action Plan for 2022-2024 on the development of customs partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan.
Meanwhile, it is expected that on September 19, delegates from Russia will visit the international customs terminal and hold talks at the customs department of the new administrative center of the Ahal region in the city of Arkadag (Turkmenistan).
