BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29. The repair of the tanker Shah Ismayil Khatai, which is on the balance sheet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO), has been completed, and the vessel has set off on a voyage to the Caspian port of Kiyanly (Turkmenistan), Trend reports via ASCO.
“The tanker underwent repairs at ASCO's Zygh ship repair and construction plant. Propellers, auxiliary boiler valves, oil and air coolers in main and auxiliary engines, steering and auxiliary devices, anchor chains, and pumps were repaired. Besides, necessary welding works were carried out on the vessel,” ASCO notes.
To note, ASCO has the largest fleet in the Caspian Sea, with 54 vessels for various purposes.
