Kazakhstan, Astana, 17 January / Trend corr. K.Konirova / The bill on Energy supply will be passed in Kazakhstan in the near future. The new bill envisages tightening the demands to energy companies, Nurlan Aldabergenov, the chairman of the Agency on the regulation of natural monopoly, said.
According to Aldabergenov, about 20% of electric energy is lost during transportation, which is connected with depreciated networks.
"All companies must have programs to eliminate loss of electricity. The companies would define the supernormal losses and fix the term from three to five years to decrease the losses," Aldabergenov stated.
