Bank loan portfolio restores
The quality of the bank loan portfolio is slowly improving. There is a high proportion of bad loans, which puts pressure on the loan portfolio, the Kazakh National Bank reported.
About 35 percent of banks expect any improvement in the quality of the loan portfolio. About 51 percent of respondents predict that the quality will remain unchanged. Roughly 13 percent of banks think the quality of the loan portfolio will decrease.
