Russian and Kazakh Presidents discuss Customs Union issues

In their telephone conversation Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev have discussed the practical issues of further intensifying the integration processes within the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, the plans of contacts in the format of multilateral associations for the coming perspective, the Kremlin press service reported.
Medvedev and Nazarbayev also exchanged views on urgent issues of the Russian-Kazakh regional and international cooperation.
The agreement on establishing the Customs Union entered into force in July 2010. It provides for a common customs space for Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
