Reduction of staffing levels in Kazakh customs authorities will continue in 2012, head of the Customs Control Committee Serik Baymaganbetov said at a meeting of the finance ministry board on Monday.
He said under the optimisation of staff numbers of the committee's administrative personnel reduction, the number of deputy chairmen was dropped from 4 to 3, a move supported by the ministry. In total over 110 people from managerial staff in the first and second grade levels were reduced.
"This work will continue under the execution of the President's instructions given during his address to the people," Mr Baymaganbetov said.
