Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 21 / Trend E. Kosolapova/

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law on "Amendments and supplements to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public service", the presidential press service reported.

The law is aimed at improving the state office efficiency, including introduction of new mechanisms for the formation, operation and evaluation of Public Service Staff.

Following the reforms envisaged by the amendments, the number of political officials in Kazakhstan will be reduced by roughly 6.5 times.

Moreover, the elite school of managers "A" will be formed in Kazakhstan.

Amendments to the Kazakh legislative acts on public service envisage amendments and supplements to minimize "command moves" and strengthen the protection of the state employees in case of managers changing.

According to the bill, appointments through moving state employers from one state body to another will be realized only in cases determined by the President.
