President Nursultan Nazarbayev is going to hold the 20th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Astana, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Yeraly Togzhanov said.
"On April 24 at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, chaired by the Head of State will take the 20th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan 'Strategy 'Kazakhstan - 2050: One Nation - One Country - One Destiny'" Togzhanov said at a press briefing in the Central Communications Office under the President on Monday.
According to him, a number of major issues including the development of the Assembly's activities during the regular session will be considered at the meeting.
A number of programs including a plan for the Assembly's development up to 2014 has already been adopted. Today, the plan is already ready, it contains 46 events. Also one of the main issues is the development of the state language as a factor of the unity of the people of Kazakhstan," Togzhanov said.
