Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has met with UK Senior Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, prime-minister's press-service reported.
"The parties discussed a wide rage of issues concerning Kazakh-British relations, including trade and economic cooperation," the press-service said.
Within the meeting, Akhmetov emphasized Great Britain's role as of Kazakhstan's strategic partner.
"We closely cooperate in the oil, gas and mining industries, but our countries have potential for cooperation in other priority sectors of the economy as well," he said.
Warsi in turn invited Kazakhstan to cooperate in the "green economy" sphere.
"Our countries attach great importance to the development of "green economy" and we are ready to cooperate with you in the field of transfer of "green" technologies," she said.
The parties noted that the two countries have created all the necessary conditions for further development of bilateral economic and cultural ties.
