An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at Kazakh-Kyrgyz border on April 25, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 00:34 a.m. Almaty time (April 24, 6:34 p.m. Greenwich time), 63 kilometres to the east from the city of Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damage.
