Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, families and friends of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov, who died after receiving fatal wound in an armed assault in Ankara Dec. 19, Nazarbayev’s press service said Dec. 20.

The committed act of terrorism once again confirms the need to join efforts of the whole world in the fight against terrorism, said Nazarbayev in his message.

Kazakhstan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, he added.

Nazarbayev also noted that Andrey Karlov was a talented diplomat, whose professional work gained respect and was aimed at strengthening of the Russia-Turkey relations.
