Experts of the Kazakhstan Poultry Producers Union expect the poultry meat production to double by 2021.
The Unions says that annual egg production in Kazakhstan will be more than 7 billion pieces, poultry - more than 500,000 tons by 2021.
In 2017, the total production of poultry meat in Kazakhstan is expected to be 203,000 tons, including poultry factories will produce 193,000 tons of poultry meat, a commercial egg of 6 billion pieces, including poultry factories will produce 5.1 billion pieces.
Within the framework of the State Program for the development of the agro-industrial complex approved by the Kazakh president, the activity of the country's poultry industry is carried out in two directions - import substitution for poultry meat and increasing the export of egg.
Currently, the volume of domestic production is 48% of the consumption of poultry.
