Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin informed about the taxes paid by the participants of the Employment Roadmap for 2020-2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazinform news agency.
“The timely anti-crisis measures taken to support employment of the population made it possible to prevent a large-scale increase in unemployment (4.9 percent as of the 4th quarter) in the country,” the prime minister added. “At the same time, creation of jobs and the fact of employment within infrastructure projects of the Roadmap are monitored through the information system "Integrated map of job creation" and is tracked through the mandatory pension contributions from employers. For this purpose, the mandatory conclusion of an e-employment contract with those employed within the Roadmap projects or registration of an employment contract in the "Unified system for registering e-employment contracts" was introduced.”
Mamin also spoke about the tax monitoring mechanism within the Roadmap.
"Tax returns are monitored by reconciling declarations on individual income and social taxes from employers and control for the accuracy of indicating actual income,” the prime minister added. “At the beginning of the year, business entities that took part in the implementation of the Roadmap paid taxes in the amount of more than eight billion tenge ($18.8 million). Taking into account the suspensive effect of the invested budgetary funds, taxes and social payments from the implemented projects of the Roadmap will increase. For the reporting period, 857 billion tenge ($2.09 billion) has been spent."
