The AIX Qazaq Index (AIXQI), which measures the performance of the shares of Kazakhstan-linked companies, increased by 19.45 points (+1.91 percent) from 1016.1 (January 5, 2022) to 1035.6 (January 12, 2022), Trend reports referring to the Astana International Exchange.
AIXQI is comprised of Equity and GDRs of nine Kazakh companies traded on the AIX, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, and London Stock Exchange. These companies include those either registered in Kazakhstan or whose business income is generated partially or wholly in Kazakhstan, or a considerable portion of operational activity is in Kazakhstan.
