Kazakhstan continues to remove barriers for its products in markets of EAEU countries

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29. Kazakhstan continues to remove barriers for its products entering the markets of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, Kazakh Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration Zhanel Kushukova said at a meeting of ministry’s collegiums, Trend reports with reference to the government of Kazakhstan.

According to Kuhuskova, positive dynamics of Kazakh foreign trade was observed for five months of 2022.

Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $51.3 billion from January through May 2022.

Kazakh exports grew by 59 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $34.2 billion.

Trade with the EAEU countries also continues to show positive dynamics.

"Kazakh trade turnover with partners in the EAEU amounted to $10 billion in the first five months of 2022, which is almost five percent more than the same period in 2021,” she said.
